Sp1ra is a queer road movie which doubles as a fantasy epic. It follows mysterious coated figure and a triangle of youths; documenting,dancing and queering the Nevada Desert which surrounds Las Vegas.Through their cat walk poses and invented rituals the characters subvert hetero-normative ideas of masculinity embedded in the history of the 'American West' and its associated media.
